What You May Not Know About Ryan Seacrest

Many know Ryan Seacrest as that iconic radio and television presenter who thrills many of his various shows. As a matter of fact, the shows he produces, either in the radio or TV have turned out to be the most favorite to many Americans. You might have known him as the host of American Idol, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, Sacha Baron Cohen’s red carpet, Live with Kelly & Ryan from May 2017 or On Air with Ryan. But did you know Ryan was a heavyweight in his early days? What? Yes, you read it well.

In his interview with Men’s Journal, Ryan Seacrest confessed that he was one of those kids who would always be in the hood and when swimming, his shirt was always on because he never wanted anyone to see his overweight body. He was the kind of kid that cookies and nachos were always in his mouth despite his mother keeping a close eye on him. Of course, when you look at Ryan presently, he is a slim guy who is very flexible but that did not just happen; he has worked for it.

Ryan Seacrest found his confidence when he started shedding his childhood weights and found the right diet. As a result of his personality, he ended up as a TV personality and radio presenter. He has maintained his workouts as if maintaining meetings while ensuring that no workout is canceled. He has always maintained going to the gym at least five times per week where he does circuit and core workouts. His workout is not complete without some sweat that’s why he can be involved in pushups, sprints on stationary bikes, and sit-ups which do interchangeably. He sometimes does swimming although he requires more training.

With his deep love for veggies juice, cashew nuts, and snacks, the exercises have enabled Ryan Seacrest (@ryanseacrest) to lead a balanced life both physically and emotionally which makes him feel young. He plays ping-pong, does running, some yoga and biking. He is the founder of Ryan Seacrest Distinction which is a menswear brand and a chairman of Ryan Seacrest Foundation which is a philanthropic organization. American Idol has increased viewership since he came into 26 million weekly while his radio show, On Air With Ryan at ABC studios from 6-10am, has become popular as well.
